Hey Richard,

Great pictures! Looks like you enjoyed that warm sand and hot sun! Lucky you. Your nephew and his bride make a sweet couple. Why on earth did you return to our winter weather? LOL

Great photos Richard!! Sure beats snow, doesn't it? So, did you eat any of the ethnic food there? How'd it go for you?

Thanks guys!

Cigars were Dominican. Beach & wedding were beautiful, hotel was nice, food was lousy. I think the exotic drinks were the big hit, but, I don't drink so I stuck with iced tea, bottled water & juice. For food I kept to pretty bland stuff, toast, chicken breast, rice, etc. But we had a great time and no problems at all regarding ileostomy, customs and travelling!

Ileostomy since August 2005.
As result of surgery (modified whipple) for necrotising pancreatitis. Removal of gallbladder, 2/3 of pancreas, resections of large and small intestines. Massive infection. 8 months in ICU at Westchester County M.C. (I think that's a record). Second surgery for resection due to fistulas in January 2007. Been slowly recovering since then. Possible reconnection candidate.
