Is there any precautions to take when doing weights or any form of exercising with an ileostomy?

I know and i do drink plenty of water, just wondering is there any danger with scar tissue etc

Many thanks

My doc just said to take it easy with abdominal stuff until you could judge your limits. (And remember that MANY exercises use abs, not just crunches and such.)

I took it slow in the beginning, but was up to about 500 crunches a day before my 2nd surgery. I used lighter weights, when I used weights, though. I just did more reps. Worked great for toning!
If at first you do not succeed, then skydiving is surely not meant for you.
