Thanks! We've got our shutters up and plenty of supplies, so we're ready to ride out the storm. It hasn't become a hurricane yet (74 mph winds), but it is coming our way as a strong tropical storm with sustained winds expected at 70 mph. I've got candles set up all over the house, so we're ready for the power to go out overnight. I'll keep you posted on how we're doing, if I can get internet access once the storm blows through.
I am so glad you came through both of you ordeals ok! Hopefully the rest of the hurricane season will be as uneventful.

Edie, I know, I can't believe it's been 4 years already! My sister lives in Palm Harbour and didn't get any weather from Fay, and we got very little. I also liked how breezy and cool it was - a nice change from the hot, humid weather we've been having. Yeah, I hope I never have to hear "hunker down" ever again!! They overused that during Charley.
Those were the best pancakes of my life. I had to remind myself to chew, because I wanted to inhale them!
