Hi guys!  Something that my "stoma" nurse told me prior to having my ileostomy surgery was that one way to look at it is like bringing a new baby home from the hospital.  You don't know what kind of a schedule it will be on, etc.... I know that thinking this way has helped me tremendously in dealing with the whole thing.  I thought that sharing this perspective may help someone else that may be having difficulty in dealing with their stomas.  Hope this helps. :-)

Yep - I agree, you just have to learn to work around it's schedule tho you soon get used to what agrees with it and not. Like a child!! Thanks for passing that along,
