I uploaded a picture of me and my co worker in our costumes to the photobucket site!! I'm the pirate, and she's Mother Nature (she's PG). Anyone else dress up? What were you? Pics?

Thanks, Jo! It was subtle and got a lot of laughs. I like your costume, too! Are you already back at work? If so, that's great!

I'm sitting on my front porch right now with my laptop and a big basket of candy tending to the trick-or-treaters. They are so cute! smilewinkgrin

well i didnt' dress up, but my little boy wanted to dress like ghost, but all he wanted to do was put a t-shirt over his head, a gray one at that, ,without eye holes! so we finally talked him into a white one with eye holes. But after i sewed the neck hole and arm holes shut andput it on him, it ended up looking like a klan hood. So obviously he could not wear that. So he just wore white pants and a white shirt and white shoes. However he heard me tell someone he looked likea member of the klan, and i guess he misunderstood (thank goodness) cause he went around telling people he was a CLAM, it was so funny

LOL, kids say the darnest, right? Hilarious.

CeCe - yup, I'm back at work, and enjoying it, actually. The bad news is, I have to have my gallbladder out and now I go back OUT of work again in December. Sigh.

And the sadest news of all? It's 8:45 here, and we still haven't gotten a single trick or treater.

don't feel bad Jo i have never had a trick or treater come to me house ever and probably never will, we don't have any neighbors!

Alot ofpeople are doing the trick or trunk things at churches and all now. Unfortuantely it's gotten dangerous for kids to trick or treat the old way.

summerstaorm,
I love that trick or trunk idea. I live in rhode Island and we just trick or treat. I live in a duplex and my neighbors had alot of kids. I didn't, but more for me,lol. I can only eat gummy candy though, which is cool because i love gummy things. Well, I hope everyone had a happy halloween. I am dreading Thankgiving though, because I loved all of the veggies we have, but because of my intolerences, I can't have anything, including stuffing. Well, i hope i find something. I got to my mom's on that day. What stinks even more is My birthday is on Nov. 25th and I can't tolerate cake or ice cream cake or cookies. Guess I'll have a gummy bear party for my 30th this year.

Jo, I'm sorry you have to have surgery again. That's a bummer.

Summer, you always have the cutest stories about your son. Thanks for the chuckle.

Our church did Trunk or Treat this year. People filled up the trunks of their cars with candy and went to the church parking lot. The kids trick-or-treated from car to car, and then they served hot dogs on the grill for everyone. It was fun!
