shakehead   shakehead shakehead shakehead I had a hida-scan on my gallbladder the first part of last week my gallbladder works at 0 %.So my surgen sent me for a altra-sound the end of last week.Went to see my surgen yesterday and he is going to take it out next thursday.Have to stay in the hospital for 3 to 5 days.HE says he can not do scope surgery because of all of the damage that I already have to the mucles in my abdomen. So it will be open surgery. He says that if it had not went septic when I was in the hospital the first part of the year that he would just leave it alone but because of that he is afraid that he will end up doing emergency surgery if it was left alone. Some of you are wondering why he did not take it out at the first of the year.I did ask him that after I was better and he told me that he felt that if he did one more thing to me at that time that I would die.As it was he told my family that I was not going to make it and at best I only had a 10 % chance of making it.So anyway I hope that all of you will pray for me.I will miss coming on line when I am at the hospital but I will get back on line as soon as I can.Bye Debbie. shakehead shakehead shakehead shakehead

debbie, i will pray for you!!! but have faith you will be fine, especially for your children. This may give you your life back to the way it should be. It has been some time since your last op, so you should be well enough for more surgery. the way id look at is god wouldnt have blessed you with all your children if you werent going to get to look after them.  you are such a strong woman, considering what you have been through already you will do it. as you say in your profile, its just another step for you. a long and hard one granted but you can get through it. Im sure your full family will be praying and my guess is that their strentgh, optimism and hope could see you through anything. As you enter yet another op just think of how happy your family will be to see you once it is over with. Their smiles and love will guide you through im sure

praying for you and your family

with love and best wishes amanda( i look forward to seeing you post again when you are able)

The EXACT same thing happened to me! I have my fifth surgery in 15 months on December 5th. Same issue - Gallbladder. My takedown was in August, no I'm back in again. Boooo.

I'll keep you in my thoughts!
If at first you do not succeed, then skydiving is surely not meant for you.
