Feeling a bit bah humbug actually, but I want to wish you all a restful Christmas (yeah right!) and also a very peaceful and fabulously healthy New Year.

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. This year I treated myself to a Bah Humbug hat! Haven't worn it out of the house yet but it makes me smile. I am a big procrastinator. I plan to buy early (even planned to order online this year) but of course waited until the end. I was going to do my big shopping last Friday (early in the day) but we had a snowstorm. I refuse to go to the mall on the weekend (I hate the mall at any time of the year). But I went out early on Monday and got a good chunk of my gifts. I ordered a few things online this past weekend (had to pay a bit extra to be delivered on time nono ). Last night my husband and I went back to the mall for a few items. Still hate the mall (it was very crowded) but got some time alone with my hubby tongue . Picked up a few gift cards today. I was going to cook tonight (my sister-in-law and family are coming over) but they just called and offered to buy us Chinese food! Yay! No cooking tonight. Okay, so the tree is not even decorated yet and no presents are wrapped but I still have another 12 hours or so.

Have a very Merry Christmas and/or Happy Chanukah (we celebrate both in our house). May Santa leave you a healthy body!

Happy Holidays to everyone! I for one, am happy to move on to 2009, and away from 2008! YAY!

I hope you all get to spend some time with loved ones - cherish them, for isn't it them that support us through the tough times?

Hugs to all of you!

bah humbug is from charles dicknens a christmas carol, it's what scrooge says when someone says merry christmas to him. It is sort of like saying, i hate christmas, without actually saying it.
