Has anyone had an illeostomy then reversed and then faced complications and had the reversal done to have the illeostomy again?
this has happened to me and i am thinking o haveing the reversal again to re connect to the j pouch.
i am wondering what risks are involved if i have complications again?

I have, I think they tried reversing it twice but ended up with the ostomy again. But you never know, it could work great for you.
What were you diagnosed with? If you don't mind me asking
thanks, Dusti

Diagnosed with colonic inertia at 13 years old, had my colon removed.
Diagnosed with rectal inertia at 16 years old, had my rectum removed and had a jpouch made.
Diagnosed with small bowel inertia at 18 years old, and got an ileostomy wich I still have. I am 27 now.

If you want to know more, just ask me!
