The first thing I think when I have an unusual pain is to go on this board and ask you guys what you think. I have had a terrible pain in my right side under the breast. It keeps me up at night and it is just plain annoying. Like someone else posted, I have been having abdominal pains after eating also. I have a perm ostomy.

Yikes! I don't want to think of any more surgeries. My friend said that she thought it might be gas since I don't have any place for gas to go now!HA :) Wish it could be that simple.

Jennie,
If it is gas, try laying flat in bed and slowly rolling from one side to the other. If it is trapped gas, this can help to move it to other areas of the abdominal cavity and get you some relief. That is always what they recommended to me in the hospital. Maybe that will help.

If it is gallbladder, watch your diet for a little while and see if the pain goes away.

I sure hope that it isn't gallbladder, and that it is a case of gas!

Maybe I did have trapped gas because the pain has vanished, but I have heard that gall bladder problems can come and go.

I was passing a gallstone!!!!

My gallbladder and my large bowl is history after the 30th and I am going to take my gut and choke the He-- out of my gallbladder with it.
