Does anyone know if we should be using capsul medication?? I have fibromyalgia and i've been taking lyrica and cymbalta for a while but they're not helping.  My body is in sooo much pain!!!! cry    I recall my dr saying something about it but don't recall exactly.  I have a feeling people with ileostomies should be taking them due to absorbtion.

Can anyone help??

I can tell you that extended release capsules won't stay in your system long enough to release the medications. As far as other drugs... I have trouble with really hard/large pills digesting, like calcium. But capsules are fine. I do cheat when taking tylenol .. I get the caplets and just break them in half. They absorb really quick that way.
