Have any men found any really good hernia flattening underwear or cummerbunds? I know there are sites such as WEIRCOMFEES, OPTIONS-OSTOMY and OSTOMYSECRETS but I haven't gotten anything from anyplace yet.

Well I am getting the binders (abdominal belts) custom made from one of the manufacturers in Delhi. It is 28 centimeters broad, with lycra imported from the UK. The quality is quite good. The ealier one had lasted about 2 years. I have got another one recently. During my Stoma, I had got them designed by the same person.

I did not like the branded ones available in the market, even though they are much cheaper.

How do you contact your manufacturer? Is there a website to view the product?

I have just checked up, and found that my supplier is not having a website. At least it is not on his business card. It's Physio-Care, Medical Services, manufacturing cutom made Compression Garments, silicon implants, orthopaedic implants, etc. The person's name is Mr. Navin Bhushan. Mobile/Handphone Number is 09818686226.

If you tell me your waist size, I can help you out in sourcing the same, and sending it through courier. I had seen similar product on one of the websites too. Let me check and get back to you.

Thank you, PSA.Delhi. My waist size is 32 inches. Before you get anything please let me know the costs. It might not be something that I can budget at the moment.

Well the price for 28 Centimeter broad with Velcro was Rs.1,600/-, which is about USD35 (Thirty Five). The courier charges would be additional. Please do not worry about the cost. Whenever you need it just let me know. I will send it across to you.

Please check this website for online purchase. Mine is somewhat different. The products shown seem to be good.
