That's kind of how I feel...Mommy-nator...meaning that I've been worked on and re-routed and now I'm ready to rock n roll!!!  : )  So, I just wanted to start a chat about Mommy and Mommy-To-Be stuff.  At the moment I have nothing but good, fun things to share.

I have my son (17 months) and my nephew (7 months) today.  They are so much fun!  My son amazes me every day with the things he knows and his little thought processes.  My nephew is starting to crawl so it's awesome to watch them together.  My son likes to get down and roll on my nephew...I don't know...maybe it a little boy bonding thing?  : )

I'm also excited b/c my son is happier now that I've started giving him allergy medicine every morning.  His doc said to give it as needed, but J's been cranky lately so after a daily dose he's just a much happier toddler...Yay!!!

My son also likes to find my accessory and hit it over and over b/c it makes a plastic, crunchy noise.  It's embarrassing when we're at someone's house or in public.  It's a good thing it's not too noisy...like foil or something...that'd be horrible!

I also wonder what he's going to say to people once he's at the point of sharing everything that goes on in our home.  I love hearing kiddos spill the beans about the funny things Mommy and Daddy does...or what Mommy and Daddy say to their ornery animals.  : )  So, I wonder what J will say about my accessory.  Not every Mommy has a pouch on her tummy!

I'd just love to hear from you other Mommy's and what's going on with you and your kiddos!  Do any of you feel like a Mommy-nator?!

Cool thread!! :-)

Well after missing years 3-7 of my daughter's life...I have been making up for lost time...she's 14, about to be 15 in October, and I'm loving every minute of it!!  I did have a small backslide last year when I took the proctocolectomy option (had a temp for many years before it) so I was in and out of the hospital a couple times, but nothing like pre-ostomy skull

Tonight we went to the 8th Grade Awards Night for her school!  She made Honor Roll for the first three quarters...she's pretty AND smart!!!  I know, I'm her mom, but she is!!!  They called all the kids up (on stage) from her community and she was the ONLY one out of 25 kids who showed up shocked    And to think my hubby and I MADE her go...she just got a free pass for any other award nights!!

Six days a week I spend my 'spare' time taking her to see her horse where we board him.  Then there are the days when she has a lesson....or a horseshow....or another lesson....my life REVOLVES around her, and I wouldn't have it any other way tongue   Then there is the seventh day that she gets to go fly-fishing with dad...and I SLEEP!!

She's an only child...I am lucky I had her when I did (in between MAJOR flares)...and never really felt well enough when she was younger and then when I was feeling better, I was happy with one and never had anymore...I guess I thought I was too old!!

Well my baby had a preschool program tonight (he is 3) and they sang little songs and such, and boy did he ever SING, lol.
He is always into something, and smart as a freakign whip, and yeah i am just his mommy, but this darn kid is multipyling! and he is way tooooo smart to pull stuff over on him, its so annoying, lol. Lately he has been playing washing machine, he takes his clothes outside and "washes"them in his water table!
he is also finally almost compelty potty trained, its amazing, darn kid can spell but is just not potty trained. We let him go outside here, and we look outside last night and he, andhis two friends are peeing in the sandbox!!!! there's no sand in it, they took that out a while back, lol.
Tonight we went out to eat, and he had to pee, my BIL was with us and he said, "dusty i gotta pee" he said ok buddy just a minute. So Michael just stops in front of the restuarnt on the sidewalk pulls his pants down and whips it out! Dustin scooped him up and ran to the bathroom! it was sooo funny!
