i just found some jeans that are perfect for ostomates! they're called 'the lounge act' by Jolt. i tried looking for a link online to show what they look like, but couldn't find them. i think they came out a while back so they aren't featured on their site, they do show their shorts that have the same feature though, but i don't think they are nearly as cute. the jeans are a dark wide leg pant with a stretch panel at the top like maternity jeans you can fold down or keep up. you of course can't see the panel unless you pulled your shirt up. they totally help to flatten the bag but aren't tight in the waistband like most jeans. i'm in love! i found mine at nordstrom for $42 yesterday. not sure if they are in other stores or not, like i said not much luck finding them online. thought i'd mention it to you girls though, they are reeeeally comfy and cute!

that'd be great.....but I can't find them. I looked on nordstrom online, and no go. I also did a search for them and no lounge act.
I'd really love a comfy pair of jeans. Jeans are so cute, just much harder to wear now.

okay, that's the problem. i can't find a pic online even on the nordstrom site where i got them YESTERDAY! arg! here's a link to the shorts, but you can't even see the waist so it's sorta pointless. http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3026673/0~2378467~2381557~6021403?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=6021403&P=1
if you have a nordstrom, i'd say just go and look.
here's some i found in sort of the same style but they're plaid so not quite as versitile
http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&storeId=301&langId=-1&productId=501600154&linkshare=http://www.shopstyle.com/affiliate
and here's some in grey- these look like the jeans i got
http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&storeId=301&langId=-1&productId=501887953&linkshare=http://www.bizrate.com/affiliate
so i'd say dillards is worth at looking too, since they carry the pants and shorts!

yep, they are in juniors sizes. i usually wear a 2 in gap, old navy, etc. and got a 5 in the jolt jeans. so i think juniors sizes run smaller. the longer shorts look cute, the ones at nordstrom were short an i'm not big on shorter shorts. i might have to get some, thanks for the website!
