Sorry the long subject...I needed to get some details out there...

So I have the jpouch in place  and a loop ileostomy. I am having discharge from my bottom, this i know is normal. I am wondering how many times a day is normal and what colors? Yesterday I had the urge to go quite a few times and today the discharge looked a little pink. I'm afraid. I had a colitis flashback and I DON'T want anything like that again.

Does anyone have any ideas or can offer some experiences. I'm real nervous right now! My takedown is scheduled for June19!!!! and I don't want anything to get in its way.

I hope suebear will be along...she'll have some words of wisdom for you!! But, I don't think it is an issue for your takedown...I bet you are counting down the minutes, huh?! Try not to worry, you'll be okay:)

THIS IS NORMAL!!  The pink you are seeing is a tinge of blood and is a GOOD sign.  It means your tissue is alive and healthy.
