Has anyone that has had the J Pouch surgery had complications with their perianal skin? And if so what did you do to heal the area or ease the irritation? My husband is two months out from surgery and has tried all of the creams the drs have prescribed and soaks as much as possible at the suggestion of the dr and he cannot seem to heal the area. Any suggestions would help. Also, what are peoples experience with fiber, he has been taking it and feels he goes the bathroom more, any thoughts? Thank you for any help we can get. :)

Has your husband tried calmoseptine or Ilex?  I know this is a difficult time but it will get better.
