As ostomates do we still get and feel bloated?  This is the first time since the surgery that I've felt this way.

Dx-May 2007 Moderate/Severe Pancolitis - failed all medications
 
Proctocolectomy w/ permanent ileostomy on 02/06/09!!!

Hi Robin,

Yes, I have an ileostomy and get bloated mostly if I eat sugar. Never knew before but gas and bloat are from the small intestine. Try to figure out which food does it for you. I had a big adhesion issue but had them taken down, hope any leftover adhesions aren't the cause of mine. Good Luck, Rose.
