I had my ostomy reversal in March of this year, and have had several surgerys already to repair hernias where my ostomy site was.  I've also had several more hernias show up in different parts of myabdomen.  I just had my last surgery on June 25.  My surgeon fixed two out of the three hernias, he said that the third one wasn't really big enough to fix now, and that it would probably never cause me any trouble.  WRONG....

I have a big knot that has developed, and it is quite painful.  I go back to my surgeon in two weeks, and I'm scared to death.

I have had four surgerys since September of last year.  My first surgery was in September of 2008.  I developed an abcess and had surgery to remove it and had major bladder repair, sent home with open wound, catheter, and colostomy bag.  I've been miserable ever since.

Has anyone else experienced this?  How can I prevent the hernias?  I wear spanx all the time, no more thongs!!  I'm just sick and tired of being this way!!  I am in extreme pain, and bad muscle spasms.  I don't know what else to do....
