Hi Everyone, I recently went for a flexi sigmoidoscope, my surgeon wanted to check and see how the rest of my colon looks before he does reversal surgery. I kept telling myself that the GI would not want me to have it reversed, and I was right. He said I have 7-8 inches of colon/rectum area left, and it is still the way it looked in Feb before they had to do the emergency surgery because my colon preforated. He said that by reversing it the disease from the colon (whats left of it) will pass on to the small intestine, and he doesn't feel I should. I know my surgeon is going to leave it up to me but tell me I shouldn't. I really want it reversed but then again I don't want to have the crohns problems. Has anyone been in this situation and had any good outcomes, or can someone give me some advice? I would really appreciate it...Thanks Tara confused
