Not sure if you all are aware, but almost all supply companies offer free samples. My ileostomy nurse told me to call them. I called the 3 big manufacturers and within a few days I got a box from each. All of them had a bunch of good stuff. I think in total I got about 15 bags (some one piece, some two piece), pastes, fresheners, scissors, carrying cases. I would recommend you call. The 800 numbers are on their web sites.

My at home health company has screwed up 4 times now on getting me supplies, and 3 weeks after surgery I still haven't gotten any. So this stuff will definitley hold me over until they straighten it out. They're all cut to fit bags so they would work for anybody.

Don't wait for them...you should have all the product numbers you need and can contact the supplier, your insurance allows, and order them yourself. Its usually easy and can be done via online or phone.

There is NO reason you haven't received anything after THREE WEEKS! Don't accept that, this is your life, and there is NO excuse for them to drop the ball! Ok, I'm off the soapbox, sorry shocked

I know when I had my temp ostomy I did get some samples but def check those items should have gotten to you by now and if your insurance goes thru a particular company etc you want to register a complaint. sadly my insurance didnt cover ostomy supplies when I had mine, mine has since been reversed and with my crohn's it within weeks of reversal spawned in a new place I often wish I hadnt had mult complications with mine and maybe be better off than back to the ol days of frequent runs to the RR
