there was a thread here recently about running, but i can't find it or remember who made the thread....anyone remember?

so basically i want to know about you runners...do you use a bellyband or something to hold the bag to your body, or just let it swing, or??

Fruitcake!

I am not what you call an avid runner...but I TRY...I make sure it's empty and tuck it into my undies or the best one I've found is to wear a pair of those tight spandex type shorts under my regular work out clothes. They're tight and they wick moisture:)

Oh I never thought about the moisture wicking properties!  Where do I buy spandex, this isn't the 80s anymore lol

I ordered a 'bella band,' so I'll give that a try. Suggested by summerstorm? i think. i didn't get up the nerve to go into a maternity store though-purchased online. Hope I got the size right :-P

Oh, I also found a good training guide, it's military.  Has an area for every level of fitness, including a walk-to-run program.

Well I got the bella band today. Not so good for running, it kind of moves upwards, exposing the bag, letting it swing around. However, this will be a perrrrfect item for those 'imtimate moments' lol. Maybe I'll get another one in black tho, but it'll work great! Can't wait to try it ha

Hey Matt,
I have been away for a while and just read this post. I ran the half marathon in july
and run another one in Dec.6th in Vegas for CCFA.I had answered another post you
you had on wet suits and mentioned white rose a company that does underwear for
ostomates. When you run you need underwaer that will hold your bag in place and not
constrict your stoma. There are underwear that have a pouch for your bag . Stay in touch!
They do come in black! Carole
