I have a colostomy and have only had it for three months but I get poop that hurts to come out and it will just sit in the opening and not come all the way out and I cant dig it out or anything and it hurts really bad. Is this normal? Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

I would try taking a stool softener to see if that helps and make sure you're drinking plenty of water.
