Urostomy 2000

I have had my Urostomy since 2000, the past several years I have notice I have a hernia in that area,  It has gotten larger, size of a grapefruite  now,  Has anyone else experienced this, and if so what advice would you have for me?  Dr, says to leave it alone, until it starts to bother me,   its just so large, and clothes dont fit me,  Would appreciate any adivce  thank you

In my experience, if you want anything done...complain, LOUDLY. The squeaky wheel gets the oil right? Tell him it is bothering you and interfering with daily living.
