I thought a little "off topic" thread was in order.  So...what's on your list?  Were you naughty or nice this year???

I've tried to be nice too it should count for something. I'm not a scrooge but I don't care if I get presents I love to have the family together and watch the little ones (grandkids) open their gifts.

Ditto on the "I don't really want anything" because I buy myself whatever I want!!! I asked for a new set of pots/pans...and by the looks of the packages wrapped under the tree...I'm getting them!!!

p.s. I really wish my hubby hadn't put them out yet skull

I would love an earlier date for my takedown surgery, lol. It is scheduled for January 19th but I was hoping to get it done the day after my 32nd birthday which would be January 4th! I can schedule it whenever I want but that was my surgeon's first availability...I am on the cancellation list though.

Other than that, not really sure what I want this year....I just love watching my little girls open their Christmas presents!!

I take that back, I want to plan a vacation for when I am feeling perfectly healthy again! That would be perfect:)

I have tried to be nice nice too but it was hard feeling so sick. Now I am finally recovering from the Aug. ileostomy and I'm trying big time. Don't even know what I want for Christmas present.

I already got my Christmas present - dishwasher drawers!! :) Ok - so it doesn't sound exciting but I've been wanting them for years and our dishwasher finally decided to completely stop washing the top rack. After hand washing for a couple of weeks having a dishwasher back - and getting drawers is just awesome in my book!! yeah

Have I been nice this year??? I guess that depends on who you ask.

For Christmas this year our goal is to experience the spirit of Christmas.  We are not going to buy any gifts. We are either doing a white elephant exchange or baking something for someone else.  We have been putting together a list of everyone's favorite treats and we are going to bake them.  For my hubby's work associates, I am baking fresh bread.

Focusing on the Reason for the season is what brings me peace and joy, too. I just finished reading about His birth in Matthew 1 and 2. What a miracle! He is truly the best Gift of all. :-)

I've been so blessed this year with a couple of gifted doctors who have saved my life!  And yes I'm usually on the nice list:)
My family has already celebrated Christmas with our daughters because one of them lives 12 hours away and couldn't be home on Christmas due to her job:(  My husband and I have all we need so we are giving to a family who has lost their parent's recently and is being raised by their grandmother.  There are so many people who need help and I just want to give back for all the blessings I have received.

Peace to all,
Judy
