clean room and colostomy bags

Dear All,
          I posted this on the Chrons forum and they suggested I ask here also- so am hoping you guys can help- does anyone have any comments about working in a GMP cleanroom and having a colostomy bag- I don't know if there are any complications which could prevent access??confused

I don't think it's a problem. The clean rooms I have seen have all workers wearing protective clothing (jumpsuits, hairnets, hats, goggles, gloves, etc.). Also it's the dust they are trying to keep out. You should be fine as long as you take care to keep yourself clean and protected.

i know what a clean room is, but i dont know if a GMP one is any different, but i wouldnt think it would cause a problem. The output isnt coming out of the bag or anything, its all sealed up in there. And like Sue said, arent they usually in complete suits?
UC for 8 years, before finally kicking its butt and having a permanent ileostomy April 17 2007!
