Hi friends,

It's been a couple of years since i have been on the forum, sorry guys blush
For those of you who remember me & those who don't :-) I'll do a quick post.

I had a 3rd degree tear when my 2nd son was born which led to my anal sphinter snapping, so i had no control, i had a sphincter repair in 2006 & had an ileostomy performed temporary until the sphinter healed, during this time i developed a hernia on my stoma site cry

After around 18 months i had a reversal & hernia repair, for a while everything went well then last year i develope another hernia on the old stoma site, i went in to hospital again and this repaired, i thought that would be me all sorted but NO i have started to leak quite badly from my bowels again, i can be ok until my bowels move then i'm all running all day wiping my bottom, it never seems to clean, i get very sore and it sometimes bleeds, it's getting me really down again, don't know what to do now......... any input would be great

Calmoseptine! You can order it through Amazon, or your local pharmacy may have it in stock behind the counter. Calmoseptine rocks!

Gillian, Yeah, I long for the days of using Calmoseptine. I can't think of the name of the condition of bowel leakage you describe but there is some technical name for it. The doc will tell you. Hope you don't have to have anything more done. Doesn't one surgery just beget more? And to think some people never have any and are fit as a fiddle. Not fair; but we all do our best. Good luck. Hi Gillian! :-)
Glad you're back, but sorry you're having trouble. Hopefully, you'll get it sorted out soon. Calmoseptine is the best for sore bottoms.
