April 19th it'll be a year since my reversal of my ileostomyyeah And i was SO fortunate to only have one blockage while I had it. No other problems. They reconnected my small intestines to my bumhole and like I said its almost been a year with no problems but ALL the sudden..blood again..lots of blood when i poo. Idk whats going on or whats causing it but one of my surgeons told my mom UC might be on my rectum..WHAT no one told me this they told me i was cured lol so this has been going on for 2 weeks now..blood when i poo almost everytime. and my mums freaking out bc when this happened last time i ended up with 2 surgeries, a bag..bad stuff happened lol im wondering if anyone else had this going on? And if stress might have caused this to happen? Bc my boyfriend of 4 years decides we're moving too fast hahahahaha turn he kills me..anyway, LOTS of stress there of course. So maybe thats contributing to the blood and pain in my stomach? Bc when i had UC if i got stressed my belly would hurt like this..and also idk why but in the back of my mind im wondering if my dr might have missed that I had crohns and misdiagnosed me with UC..i guess we'll find out the 14th bc i go for a colonoscopy but i just need to hear ppls opinions about it to calm my mind a bit :)
Im 18, freshman at college :) I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis on March 18,2008...had a total colectomy November 19,2008 with a temporary ileostomy for 6 months..Reversed it April 29,2009 and my life is AMAZING living UC free :D

It sounds like you might have cuffitis, which is NORMAL!  Cuffitis is UC of rectal cuff.  If you did not have a mucosectomy with your surgery then this is likely what it is.  It's easily treatable.  Contact your GI or your surgeon for a scope.
