My husband, who belonged to this forum,  passed away recently.  He belonged to a couple of car forums and this one.  I never belonged to any forums myself.  But I can see why he loved this forum so much.  I can see the love.......pure love within these posts!

I for one am glad that you are here. I think it is a great spot for all of us to be able to get support..for what ever we are going through. I am fairly new to this forum, but I admire you for your strength and ability to share your life here with us. Know that you and your son have been in my prayers for the past few weeks.  My prayer for you today is that God will give you and your son the strength to join together and move forward. Like the song says...when your going through hell keep on going....

I hope you continue to post here....Paul

Kathy,

I haven't been on here for a few weeks due to some medical issues and am deeply saddened to hear about Mike.  I enjoyed talking with him and always told my husband about him because he too is a car guy.  I have very deep faith and know that Mike is now at peace and is with you always.

This is a wonderful place to find peace and friendship and I'm so very glad that you can find even a small moment of peace at this time; perhaps your son would join you in reading some of these posts and it will help to ease his pain for just a moment.

Please know we are always here for you and that you and your family are in my prayers.

Judy

I am trembling as I type this.  I had no idea that Mike made such an impact with all of you.  I know he would be glad to know this. He was a pitbull when it came to business, but he was a *****cat when it came to people in need.  He visited dozens and dozens of people in the hospital who wnet though the same surgery as he.  His father died of a brain tumor when he was 10.  A man at our local gas station has a son with a brain tumor. There's a cup asking for any donations. I guess people drop their spare change in.   Mike wrote him a check for a thousand dollars!

Thank you for the hugs!  Today was a tough day for me and I can use all the hugs I can get. This forum has been very comforting to me.

I am so glad you are here too!!!!  Everyone on this forum is absolutely amazing and I seem to turn here for the ups and downs...I actually just logged on to vent about silly things that people around me just wouldn't understand  wink

Please Please Please stick around here, as many would agree with me when I say that you are very much a part of this family  yeah   I wish more of our (mine, really) family members would join!

And a big ole HUG from me too!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI...I use the smurf as my sign off b/c I really don't understand why it's there.  What in the world would you use a smurf for during conversations?  Feeling blue?  That's about it.  Though, I do love those little blue guys and I used to dream of living in their cute little toadstool village, so as an homage I use it with each post  smilewinkgrin
