I have a loop ileostomy after the first stage of j-pouch surgery.  I had surgery on the 13th of dec.  I have had trouble for weeks with skin breakdown around the stoma.  I have been using stomahesive powder and barrier spray to try and protect the skin.  I have ordered eakin  seals.  Anyways, I have and ulcer along the ileostomy along the skin where the breakdown is.  The ulcer goes all the way through the bowel wall because there is contents bubbling out the hole.  Does anyone know if this a problem or how to fix it.    Thanks for any suggestions.
