Usually when I post it is about my ostomy but today my best friends father was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer and has a huge tumor surrounding his entire rectum.  They are talking about chemo and radiation to reduce the size before they are comfortable removing this tumor.  However considering the size and location of this tumor they were unable to complete  the colonoscopy.....the tumor is only one inch inside his rectum.  Does anyone have any experience with any thing like this and what they may expect....i.e colostomy etc.  I'm trying to inform myself a bit for those middle of the night calls when she is coming unglued.  Thanks for your help!
