I am an MSc Health Psychology student at the University of Nottingham, UK.  On behalf of the Institute, I am researching the experiences of young adult stoma patients.

I have kindly received permission by Peter Waite to post in this forum.  I am looking for individuals with stomas aged between 18 and 40 to support this research by taking part.  Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire and participate in a short semi-structured interview over email.

This research project aims to gain awareness of the difficulties young adults are faced with post stoma surgery.  The findings of this research can subsequently be used to inform patient care and advice within the health service.  To achieve this your participation is essential.
If you are willing to help, or want more information please email me at lwxrg@nottingham.ac.uk

I hope very much that this will be possible and I look forward to hearing from you.

Many Thanks

Rebecca Grigg
