Hi all
I have been experiencing all the classic symptoms of early pregnancy. So I bought a preegnancy test and it was positive. I am going to the doctor Tuesday to find out for sure.
My problem is I have a permanent colostomy and I am not sure what to expect. I have seen some posts from other members where some of you have been pregnant. What should I expect? Is it going to be tough emptying the bag with that big belly?
I'm really nervous. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks everyone for all your support!

First of all, congratulations :)
Secondly, if you go to http://www.ostomates.org/pregnancy.html  you'll find stories there from other women who have gone through pregnancy after their ostomy surgery. They should help calm any fears you may have.
Good luck.
I have had an ileostomy for 30 years now due to UC.
I'm not a complete idiot - some parts of me are missing!
