are there any regular runners or rope jumpers in here?  i want to get back into boxing a bit but that involves lots of rope jumping...kinda leary about the bag flopping around like that, worried about it coming off.  anyone have any experience here?  is this just asking for trouble?

I just tuck my bag inside my undies - that stops it from flopping about. In my younger days, I've been known to go trampolining, rock climbing, skipping, etc without a problem - nowadays it's age that stops me not my ostomy lol
I have had an ileostomy for 31 years now due to UC.

yeah Hi Matt, I am female so not too sure about protection for males, but...I have an idea....get yoursel a girdle, it doesn't show under clothing, the bag drains well and it won't fall off when you are boxing and running etc. good luck

Hi,
I don't have a bag...I'm just going in for surgery Friday but do not expect to have a bag but recently I was looking for shorts to wear to the gym that wouldn't chap my inner thighs (I recently had a thigh lift) and there are lots of tight fitting "compression" shorts for men and women.  They come in varying lengths and also some come up higher on your abdomen.  Go to a good sporting wear store.  I also saw them online.

Good luck to you! :-)
