Has anyone else had continued issues with upper abdomen pain a year after a reversal? I had a temporary ileostomy due to a diverticulitis related perforation in '06.  Now I have upper abdomen pain of varying degrees. The colorectal surgeon did a conoloscopy several months ago and said I have a "blind pouch" that is holding food and potentially causing the problem.

The latest episode has been going on for 4-5 days with pain just under where your bra would hit in the front and the pain never truly went away during that period of time. Now, the pain is better but my bowel sounds are very hyperactive and I have mushy to watery stool several tines a day.

I don't expect to every be "normal", whatever that is but I'm so tired of the pain. I also can not distinguish gas from the urge to pass stool. I have lots of gas but never can really distiniguish it from a bm.  How are others feeling a year after reversals?
