So, I'm going to my first Nia class tonight. Nia is a workout class that combines Yoga, Tai chi, Jazz Dance, Aikido, Modern Dance, Tae Kwon Do, and more. It's like a crazy dance class. But I'm really scared because I haven't done anything this active since the surgery (Aug 24th). I know some of you on here are very active - Do your bags hold up? I'm wearing tighter yoga pants, hope fully the bag won't flop around. Ugh, I'm going to worry about it the whole time.... sad

I also take funky dance aerobics class and I run on the road several times a week. I wear tight pants to the gym. My bag does not move; however, I always wear short/mini bags to the gym. When I run, I wear tight panties and when I bike, I wear tight biker shorts.

Have fun! Your class sounds like a blast!

I have a friend who will be testing for her black belt in karate in a few months time. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Just try and avoid positions that mean you have to lie on your tummy :)
I have had an ileostomy for 31 years now due to UC.

YAY! Nope, the bag didn't slow me down, and I got through the whole class. In fact, I forgot about it, and about 3/4 of the way through the class, I was like, "Oh yeah". What a super class, by the way. Perfect for anyone rehabilitating. It is so adaptable to any skill level. I got up a good sweat, too. I'm going to go every week now that I know I can do it. ;)
