no not that kind, lol so this is off topic, but you guys will just love this!
i accidentally accquired a cat today.  Just addign to my zoo!
i was at my grandmas and we were inside and kept hearing this god awful noise outside, and to me it sounded like a hurt cat, so my uncle, my son and i went outside, and sure enough there was this little pitiful kitty out there.  It was limping and staggering and so skinny i could put my hand around it.  Well my grandma lives next to a very busy road, and i couldnt' leave it there, and i thought about taking it to the pound, but i may as well just lay it int he road if i did that.
So i thought about these people near me that keep taking in strays and feeding them and watching out fro them.  So, i get this grand plan to take the cat halfway between my house and theirs, give it alittle food, see if that helped it. So i take it home, put it out and the end of my drive way, and throw some food for it way out in the woods, plannign to come back in a few minutes and see how it was doing.  I knew the other people would take care of it, so i wasn't abandoning it or anything.
So i get back in my car and drive up to my house and when i get out, the little cat is at my door, and grabs my leg.  So, i think oh shoot (well not that nice of a word, lol).  and it's still starving so i go in and get it some food, and it just ate and ate, i had to take the food away to keep it from getting sick.  Well i thought ok now it will run off, i figured that when my husky showed up he would run it off.  Well i go to go inside and the cat attaches itself to my leg and rides along.  well that was so cute, and this little cat is sooo pitiful, it just whines and loves on you.  Well a little while later i go get my son, and when he gets out of the car, the stupid cat comes over and he wants to play with it, so he sits down and the darn things sits on his lap.  I have never seen a cat sit on a two year olds lap.  So at this moment i realize i will keepign this cat.  So i had to go buy it food and a house, it will live outside.  I have one cat inside, and i really DO NOT like cats, but this little thing, raccoon is it's name, is just so pitiful and cute.  Anyway, i sitll was thinking, my husky will probably run it off, but he comes up on the porch and raccoon runs off at first and festus (the dog) starts eating raccoons food, and i think that the cat will probably just stay behind the fence and that festus will start growling at it, he had a rough life before we got him and is terrifeid he won't get food.  So the cat starts eating the food right out from under him, and he just eats with it.
Anyway, i tell my mom about it and she says, don't you know no good deed goes unpunished.

i took her to get shots today, i had hoped it was a boy, so i didnt' have to worry about it either being preg already or gettign that way before i can get it fixed, but it's a girl, vet said she is about five months old. She still eats like crazy, but has calmed down with the meowing some, i guess she realizes she is ok now. But the little thing didn't even weigh four pounds. My little boy is so rough with her though! today i found out he was pulling her around by her tail! i had to put a stop to that right away, but she didnt' seem to mind, just let him do it. I guess if it bothered her too much she would have hissed at him.
Thanks for all your kind words! i just couldn't leave that poor little thing to die.
Clyde-living out in the middle of nowhere we have had alot of strays over the years. its so sad how people treat their animals. One of the best dogs we ever had, she moved though, decided to live elsewhere, lol, was a dog that just showed up, she was pitiful. And festus was actually fixing to be a stray if i hadn't gotten him. I didn't realize when i said i would take him, but they were gonna take him to the mountians and just drop him off. WHich would have been a death sentence because he had stage 4B heartworms, and we think they starved him and beat him.
Anyway i got a pic of her up and one of her and my son playing  ( i am hogging the pics lately!)

Leah,
Congratulations on the newest addition to your zoo! She is adorable, and looks like she could be related to my cat, who was a stray, too. I posted his photo right next to hers. My cat is very friendly, too. He loves to cuddle up next to me when I'm in bed and will lay on his back with his head on my shoulder and will let me rub his belly! It sounds like she is very sweet and will be a good family pet.
:-) Cecilia
