So, it just falls in with my bad day. And it shows why you shouldn't be worrying about other things while you change your wafer. I just realized that I took the backing off of the tape surrounding the wafer, but not off of the adhesive part of the wafer. So, for the past 3 hours, I've been icthing like crazy, and it's because the adhesive part of the wafer wasn't sticking around my stoma, it still had the plastic on it. Grr. So, I had to change my entire bag out for the second time today! Ugh. How lame! I guess I'm lucky it was mostly before lunch, or that could've been one major leak. What a friggin' day I'm having.

That is some sticky tape. That bag held on for three hours, and I have s skirt on, so nothing is holding it up there!

i didn't think that was possible to do!  what brand are you using out of curiousity?

and you're right, that's some sticky tape.  i'm still amazed how well the flange withstands soaps, water, temperature changes, movement etc.  some serious engineering happening here!

I had a colonoscopy once, and was out of it when the nurse put a new appliance on, and she forgot to take that piece of plastic off as well. Well about half way home I had a pretty nasty accident in my husbands car, lol.

I use a one piece convex Hollister. I think it's New Image, or something or other.
I told my ET nurse at my appointment today, and she laughed at me. :)
