I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2000, but now realize I had symptoms in 1998.
My main symptom is crushing heaviness on my neck and shoulders which makes it difficult to walk,
but even at my worst I can lift my legs in the air, do leg lifts, sit in a lotus position etc. I do not have tremor and my
balance is good and my flexibility very good. My arms are basically unaffected. With meds at a low or high point I can
and stand on one foot and do various movements with the raised foot. I suffer greatly from gastrointestinal problems, have some drooling and handwriting terrible.
I take meds every 3 1/2 hours.
