I am going to start with trimix instead of Prostaglandin soon--I had lots of issues with burning and soreness--and my doc differs greatly in advice about
administration compared with the pharmacist!
Before I go back to him on this, whatkinds of dosing do you fellows who use trimix have the best result with?

I started with Trimix #1 at 0.08 ml. with little to no effect. I gradually increased the dose to .20 ml and that seems to be working.
Everyone is different.

Each is different, but I seem to be on the high side. I started with .10cc/10 units, and ended up at .20cc/20 units. By comparison, it takes .35c/35units Bimix for the same results. My Trimix is 30/1/20mcg. What's yours?

I agree with James .... everyone I have talked to uses different amounts. My Dr. started me at 0.1 units ... that was way too much. Settled in at 0.035 units (boy is that hard to read on the syringe ... really tests the bifocals!). Trimix at 30/1/10 (Papav/Phen/Alp).
I use 31 gauge, 5/16 inch needle ... its not quite as intimidating ... and hurts very litle.

I started at .1 but it didn't work. I'm now at .25 and that works every time. I'm going to reduce it to .2 and see if it works.

Hi Boss,
Its far more complicated that just how much medication should I put in the syringe
1st as a starting point, your dr should tell you how much to begin with and what increments to increase by if you see no results with the dosage he prescribed
2nd, the process of injecting has a lot to do with the success of the injection
Simply injecting and hoping you get an erection is going to result in no erection, zip, nada. You need to get yourself ready and give the medication a chance to be absorbed into the penis and not get flushed out via blood flow.
There are dozens of excellent posts that describe the process before and after injecting the Trimix. Follow these and you will use a lot less Trimix and enjoy a near perfect if not perfect success rate
Stats:
Age: 52, PSA (2008)=1.9
Biopsy on 01/09/09, Gleason Score = 3+3
One (1) out of twelve (12) cores was positive, plus external nodule found
Surgery (Da Vinci, robotic prostatectomy): 4/7/09
Post Op Path 3+3
Removed Catheter: 04/19/09
100% bladder control - Pad free 7/09
PSA 7/09 undetectable, <0.01 - 3 months post-op
PSA 1/10 undetectable, <0.01 - 9 months post-op
Trimix provides 100% erectile function
