Last night I had the honor of meeting LV-TX  (Les) and his lovely wife Vanise. (hope I spelled that correctly)

Les just lives 25 miles away and we’ve talked several times about getting together. So we finally did it.

Les is about the tenth person that I’ve met in person from on-line forums like this one. I always find it so very interesting to meet face to face. This is especially true considering the circumstances of meeting at HW first.

My favorite part of the gathering is that Les is about 6’4” and his wife is five foot nuttin. They looked so cute together.

Long live the brotherhood.

Steve I agree with you so very much. Getting to visit with one of the brothers from HW is a great joy and special event. I encourage each of you to see your HW friends in the flesh.

What a joyful experience it has been for both myself and my wife.

Sounds like a great get together Steve. If you all ever have a pick-up basketball game, chose Les to be on your team and let your wife take Vanice.

Steve,

That is cool. I agree ,the brothers I have met in person from here have all been great, along with their lovely wives. Now, no offense, Les, I have picture you not being tall, I am 5' 8" and thought I might even be taller than you. Where I got that feeling from Ill never know, lol. Glad you all had such a good meeting.

Thanks Steve....really enjoyed meeting you as well....but really..lol..I am not THAT tall....

Steve was the first person I met from this forum and I really enjoyed listening to Steve and Kim sharing their stories and interests. My wife and I had prior engagements, so the meeting was impromptu and short unfortunately. Of course Steve was with his date, so probably it was better this way, so not to interfere too much with that. (wink...wink)

Thanks for the beer Steve...we will definitely do this again...but next time I buy the beer.
You are beating back cancer, so hold your head up with dignity
