Interesting video about the changing standards of care for men with Metastatic Prostate Cancer. Being interviewed is Dr. Howard Sandler. Dr. Sandler is the Ronald H. Bloom Family Chair in Cancer Therapeutics and a Professor and Chairman of Radiation Oncology at the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. While he touches on radiation therapy the focus is on the potential benefits of surgery for men with metastatic disease. It also touches on the early use of Docetaxel and abiraterone as early treatment therapies for these men.

I have had 6 sessions of chemotherapy and started abiraterone one week after my last session. I have been undetectable since January 2016. smile
