It's been 36 hours since i had my scope and i'm having terrible lower back pain. The pain is really sharp, has anyone experienced back pain which has persisted after a scope?

I did, after my last scope. I was a little concerned because I had quite a large amount of bleeding after the scope and thought something was wrong, but when I called my doctor's office they told me not to worry about it. The back pain went on for a day or two and then eventually went away. I just remember going in to work the next day after the scope and had trouble walking up the stairs because my back bothered me so much.

No idea what the problem was, but it did stop so hopefully yours will soon as well. Feel better!

I actually am worse today. The pain really kicks in when i sit down.I am wondering is it down to the scope or is this UC related.I'm now off smoking 13 days, maybe this is the start of a flare.Every time i try to quit i flare.I'M REALLY DETERMINED THIS Time though!!Thanks for asking :):)

Being happy doesnt mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyound the imperfections! God didn't promise days without pain, laughter & without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears & light for the way.

I had mine first one done a week ago today and my lower back really has been hurting along with the bottom of my stomach. IT's a dull pain and I'm concerned. The pain is more noticeable in the lower bottom of my stomach. Plus if I sit a while, everything hurts all around. Should I call a doctoror just wait to see if it stops?
