Hi all - I saw a Naturopathic Doctor today and wanted to share what she suggested to see if anyone has heard of these treatments before.
For acute symptoms:
Geraninium Tincture
Ferrum PHos
Digestive Wellness Support:
Eliminate all sugar and refined carbs, dair, eggs and high sulfur food, eliminate grains
Take Permeeability Factors from Intergrative Therapeutics
Take Quercitin (500 mg)
Take Vitamin D
Take DHEA (10mg)
Fish Oil
If anyone has any comments, experience or thoughts about this please let me know.
Thank you!
Left Sided UC

I went to a Family doctor who also practices homeopathic medicine. She also suggested Ferrum PHos. She thought it would help a lot. I never tried it. I was going to, but I couldn't find it where I live and needed to order it online. By the time I got around to it I was already feeling better so didn't bother.

Instead of Fish Oil this doctor suggested Chia Seeds for my Omegas because she thinks you get a better effect from food than a supplement when you can. I did start taking those and like them and they are supposed to be very good for you.

Let us know if you try the Ferrum PHos, I would be interested to know what you think.
Diagnosed with Crohn's in 1998, father has UC we were both diagnosed at 20 yrs old.

Meds ~ 3.6 mg LDN(transdermal)
Supps ~ Jigsaw Essential Blend Probiotics, psylium seed, SRT vitamin C, SRT magnesium, D3, and multi-mineral. Tart Cherry Juice.

Previously on Remicade, stopped Humira after 9 months, wasn't working. No surgeries so far.
