Yup. My doctor told me I could get it, but NOT the nasal mist, which is a live virus, when on pred.
Status: Remission since May 2009!
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son
Diagnosed with pancolitis on 1/30/09
Meds: Apriso (4 0.375g pills ONCE!! daily), mesalamine enema twice weekly, Natural Factors Ultimate probiotic 12/12 Formula, multivitamin.  Used prednisone (starting dose 40 mg) to get into remission.

i think the best way to avoid the ful is to eat less carbs. the reson why i say this is so far i havent had a cold in 1 year which is very good for me. I used to get cold regularly and if someone in my department had a cold then i would defintaly get it with out fail. I work in a call center where there is alot of people and i have not got a cold or a ful. They were handing the flu shot out for free at work but i didnt get the shot. The people who did still got some sort of cold this winter. I at present have not had 1 day off sick yet, and these people who have better  immun systems than i do. they still got sick even after the ful shot. I dont know but i think that surgar feeds the viruses making them worse.

I think the ful shot will make things wrose for you not better. Well thats my opinion any way.
