Reading some of the other threads here I've noticed alot of people saying they are upping their doses to 150mg.  I just noticed my doc prescribed a starting dose of 125mg, is this a normal starting dose?  What do most people start at and do you keep taking the same dose as long as its working for you or do you reduce it eventually?

Just curious as I see people saying they have nausea, and like others I HATE nausea! I'd rather throw up for an hour straight then have nausea for an entire day!

Not sure on Imuran. 6mp starts at 50mg usually, but I know the dose for that is lower than with Imuran. Someone here will know....

I pray we don't get the nausea :)

most doctrors will proscribe imuran at a mini dose at first to see how you react to it as sometimes this drug has been known to cause serious complications like pancreatitis (not commonly tho). and if you have no serious side effects will up your dose. for most ppl this is around 150 mg per day but i believe they go by your body weight. at least thats what mine is. good luck!!!
