So after 6-7 months of flat ribbon stool, my "specialist" finally agrees to do a colonoscopy. They found a huge polyp, it was benign. Now about am month after this procedure (stool never did get round again) my stool is even flatter.

Is that normal?

There was no inflammation when they did the colonoscopy, all signs of colitis were gone. I saw the pics, just that one huge polyp about 4 to 5 inches inside my rectum. I am still not having any blood, pain, mucus, diarrhea, or other colitis issues that I had years ago. The polyp was blocking about half of the colon.

I figured it would go away or round out after that. It just got smaller, but still no other symptoms.
