Have any of you tried Reiki for your UC?
I was watching Dr. Oz the other day (i know he's not the greatest, etc), but he recommended reiki highly for UC and I did a bit of research on it, it looks pretty cool.
Just wondering if any of you have had a success using it, before I take the leap.

Go for it, even if its not a tell-tale cure, just the ability to manage your energy and meditate sounds awesome. Are you taking classes?

I doubt it would put anyone into remission but stress is a factor in UC and anything that can relieve stress could help relieve UC symptoms. I wouldn't bet the bank on it though for a cure.

I think it's worth a shot. I might even try it for my daughter (we have tried things like tui nah and cranio sacral therapy etc but not reiki). Please keep us posted if you try it.

I'm with DR. Oz on this one, Reiki seems very awesome, but this is brand new to me, so more to come...
