I started out with 9mg, then 6mg then 3mg and to tell you the truth I have been on a slow simmer the whole time. I was going to go back up but decided to stop taking it all together to see if it is actually hurting and not helping. I will keep taking apriso, hydrocort and canasa.

I went back up to 6mgs and got a all over rash and really puffy cheeks like imediatly. I think its just not helping but actually getting in the way of healing.

Anyone else have this reaction? Thx!

I felt terrible on budesonide. My diarrhea and cramping tripled when i was on it. My doctor said i was allergic to it.

I've been on it for a few months and haven't had any issues. It's the first time that I've ever used Budesonide.

Did you tapper at all as you went down to a lower dose? Like 9 mg day-1, 6 mgs Day-2, 9mgs day-3, 6 mgs day-4 and then full time at 6mgs? With Predisone tapering I would have symptoms increase for a few days while tapering and then they would get better.

I missed 2 days in a row of Budesonide due to prepping for a flex-sig and I definitely suffered from withdrawal.

I don't know if it's from not taking the bud or if it's because I used 2 canasa yesterday but last night I woke up with migraine and nausea and actually threw up. This morning my poop was fine.

I am having a really hard time this time figuring out what works for this flare.

Now I am using hydrocortizone 1/2 in morn and half at night and will never use two canasa a day again.

Sticking with apriso 4 a day and really careful diet as well.

This has Ben so hard! ;-(
