Has anyone had success with following an Ayurvedic diet or taking traditional Ayurvedic herbal preparations/Pancha Karma treatments?

A couple promising (though short term) studies I found:

I heard that Tri Phala is a really good supplement for UC when it's combined with diet, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Interesting, didn't know they had isolated studies of this. The only Ayurvedic therapy I have tried that showed positive effects was 'Racemosus Asparagus/Shatavari tea'. It helped me tremendously with my hormonal imbalances when I as taking prednisone. Apparently there are digestive anti inflammation benefits to it as well, but was taking too many supplements at the time to be able to award success to the tea.

There's also "Golden milk" or Turmeric tea that's very soothing for the gut and has other healing properties.
