A member of our forum, ladyinred, mentioned that her surgeon has informed her that there is a barium swallow that is keeping him/her from using that diagnostic test. That was news to me, so I checked it out online, and here's the link:
Since a barium swallow is the first and most non-invasive test for determining GERD/Hiatus hernia, it's pretty big news!
