I have a query that is perhaps unusual. I am a 19-year-old college student who has had asthma since childhood. I also have a very severe speech impediment. I am just wondering if there are any others who have asthma and who stutter. On a practical level, I am extremely interested in knowing how other people with asthma manage their breathing difficulties when speaking. I typically often experience shortness of breath which significantly affects my speech. My asthma can be difficult to control and I find that when it is bad, I am literally incapable of talking.

Thank you. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Richard
